Big Goals? Here is How to Achieve Them.
And What You Need to Stop Doing.
We are quickly approaching that time of the year. New year, new you. The new year means new beginnings. Soon facebook pages and blogs will be filled with lists of resolutions. New goals to people hope to achieve in the new year.
The new year is exciting. It’s a time to turn a page and start new. But in order to start new, we need to let go of some old habits and adopt some new ones.
Stop focusing on the end result.
I know. It’s hard. You are focused on how next month will be your $1000 month. I get it. I’ve fallen into that trap. The problem with focusing on the end goal is that often times we lose sight of what it takes to achieve that goal. We allow ourselves to get discouraged when it looks like we might not meet our goals.
What if.
What if instead of focusing on that $1000, you focused on how you planned to get there. Break it down into actionable steps. You know in order to get $1000 that you need readers to look at your articles. So that means that you need to work on writing. Set a goal for yourself on how many articles you plan on writing next month. You can also set goals for marketing yourself. How many facebook or niche groups will you be sharing your articles with.
